Jasmine Gur
Jasmine’s love of music began early; she attended the Tring Park School of Performing Arts from the age of 11 and then continued her professional training at Mountview Theatre School where she was awarded a BBC Performing Arts bursary and nominated for a Lawrence Olivier award for Outstanding Performance. Also a member of the National Youth Musical Theatre (NYMT) between 2004 and 2007, she went on to perform as a solo artist at The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, The Charing Cross Theatre, The Hippodrome Casino, Wilton’s Music Hall, Kenwood House, Brixton Academy and the Roundhouse.
Highlights of Jasmine’s varied career include co-writing and performing ‘The Picture House’, being selected to perform jazz standards by Thelonious Monk in a BBC documentary about his life, playing the lead in the musical ‘A dream Across the Ocean’, and also Princess Jasmine in Bill Knightly’s ‘Aladdin’.
Jasmine is also highly proficient in commercial dancing and can be seen in Tinie Tempa’s “Pass Out” music video, Britain’s Got Talent’s “Twist and Pulse” music video and Kit Walker’s “Mr Wright” music video.
Jasmine joined Belle Noir in 2013.
